You’re building a business so you can work from home and play with the kiddos more, which means you need a kickass website that works for you! We need to make sure it effectively communicates your story and facilitates leads and sales so you can bring home those Benjamins!

I refer to websites as your brand’s “home” online. It’s really the only thing you “own” on the internet. So let’s build your online dream “home!” I’ve been building websites for almost a decade and have personally launched and managed dozens and dozens of them. Just call me the Joanna Gaines of WordPress websites. Awww, you shouldn’t have. What a compliment!

You can build a website in a number of ways, but I strongly encourage you to build it with WordPress. I have worked with a number of clients who have built websites with SquareSpace and they ultimately switch to WordPress because SquareSpace ends up restricting their sales potential given certain platform limitations. I’d hate for you to spend all this time and effort to build out a website and have to start back at square one a year later (all puns intended), so I share this recommendation with you up front.

You can do as you please, and these steps will help you launch whatever website you want, but I highly recommend you use WordPress. And no, I don’t get a kickback for recommending that, I just truly believe in it and I want to set you up for success!
